*UPDATE* I’m obvioulsy a complete scatter brain. I wrote this post on Tuesday at 9:52 PM and I THOUGHT I published it. Obviously not since I have just discovered it has a Draft status.
It’s Tuesday again and time for TWD. I know I’ve missed a few and I apologize to those who stopped by over the last few weeks to find nothing new at all, never mind the expected TWD posts.
I’m afraid I just haven’t been feeling up to baking recently, or up to much of anything else for that matter. But this weekend was a nice long weekend and “Prince Charming” was out of town so I needed something to take my mind off being lonely. This week’s Chipster Topped Brownie recipe certainly qualified.

It’s that time again, time for another TWD post. Can you believe we have yet another chocolate recipe this week? That makes 3 chocolate recipes in a row!
This week Kim of Scrumptious Photography chose the Chocolate Cream Tart on pages 352 and 353 of Dorie’s book.

First of all, I apologize to anyone that may have stopped by last week and discovered that I was MIA on Tuesday (and the entire rest of the week for that matter). I was actually looking forward to making the 15 Minute Magic Chocolate Amaretti Torte but a lack of time and availability of ingredients at my local store made participation difficult enough to dissuade me from trying.
In fact, I very nearly missed this week too (can you believe it, two chocolate recipes in a row and I almost missed out on both!). “Prince Charming” and I have been rather immersed in a side project for the past week and a half or so; neither one of us has accomplished much of anything else.

This week, for your TWD enjoyment, Amy of Sing for Your Supper selected Banana Cream Pie, found on pages 342 and 343 of Dorie’s book.
I really wasn’t sure how I felt about this recipe, I very nearly decided to skip this week, but “Prince Charming” has actually requested a banana cream pie off and on for – well probably for as long as he’s known I’m pretty good at making just about anything sweet. So I took another look over the recipe and decided to give it a whirl.

Tuesday has very nearly come and gone, so we’re aiming for a quickie this week.
Jayne, of the Barefoot Kitchen Witch, chose Coconut Butter Thins for this week’s recipe. Based on the P&Q the groups results on this one were all over the board, although the recipe seemed very simple and straight forward…

I’m reasonably sure that I have completely lost several large chunks of time from the past week. There really can’t be any other explanation as to how it is Tuesday again already. But since it is, here is another TWD post for your enjoyment.
This week we have Sihan of Befuddlement to thank for choosing Blueberry Crumb Cake on pages 192-193 of Dorie’s book. If I am going to bake with fruit blueberries definitely top my list and I love just about anything with a crumb topping. Combine that with the fact that the recipe was easy to make and I’m sold.

Welcome back; it’s time for another installment of TWD and I think I’m back on track – for now anyway.
This week Liliana of My Cookbook Addiction selected French Yogurt Cake (on pages 224-225). I have to admit that this recipe somewhat surprised me, in a very good way…

It’s Tuesday again and I find myself a week behind on my TWD posts. I did in fact make last week’s Chocolate Armagnac Cake but between a death in the family and a stolen car I’m afraid TWD wasn’t exactly uppermost in my thoughts. Rather than skip entirely I decided that I would combine two weeks of TWD into a TWD Double Header.
I’ll start us off with this week’s selection by Bridget of The Way the Cookie Crumbles; Lemon Cup Custard on page 387, and then, if you are interested you can continue on to read about last week when Lyb of And then I do the dishes chose Dorie’ Chocolate Armagnac Cake (or The Cake That Got Me Fired).

Here we are – another Tuesday and another TWD post. I’m getting this posted later than I intended, but given my recent track record, I’m just glad I’m getting this posted at all.
This week Stephanie, of Confessions of a City Eater, selected the recipe with its mouthwatering photo gracing the cover of Dorie’s book for us to make; Devil’s Food White Out Cake. Despite my many ups and downs lately, I was determined to make this one…
